Technology in Virtual Teams – Simple or Not?

There is a debate going on whether technology in remote teams should be kept as simple as possible (to avoid technology challenges) or be more advanced.

See my view here in a post on MakeVirtualWork. Hint: I think we should be using some advanced but relatively simple tools as e.g. whiteboarding etc. to fully harness the power of being remote and overcoming the fact that we can’t interact face-to-face.
